The Rifle Hunter 550 by Nikon displays distances in 1/5-yard increments under 100 yards when in ID mode and 1/2-yard increments under 100 yards in standard mode, beyond that the Nikon 550 Range Finder displays in one-yard increments. Parks Parabolic Primary Mirrors are made of premium fine annealed, low expansion Pyrex, with a full 1:6 ratio of thickness to diameter. Individually hand-figured by a skilled optician, each disk produces a good diffraction ring with no turned edges or edge zones. The optical surface exhibits straight Ronchi bands edge to edge under the sensitive double pass auto-collimation test. Aluminized and silicon monoxide over coated for long lasting performance.

A Tripod head with a very neat locking mechanism and one handed controls, The FH101 is a fluid head designed for use with any spotting scope, offering positive fluid movement, with smooth control through a 360 degree pan and +90 to -90 degree tilt. The locking mechanism is separated from the mobility adjustment, and there is one operating device to lock the apparatus and a second one to unlock it. The telescope will not move when the lock is on.
